Lyden Fitness Center

The Lyden Center is a 4,000 square foot fitness area that accommodates up to 100 people at one time. This area is used by all St. John’ s Jesuit competitive athletic teams to implement strength training sessions. Gains in strength, flexibility and stamina help each athlete develop his athletic talent to the fullest as well as help protect him from injury.

The weight training and cardiovascular stations are also used by physical education classes and are available for individual training, which helps contribute to healthy, lifelong fitness habits.

Professional trainer Dr. Dustin Winkler works with both individual and groups of students. 

The Auxiliary Gymnasium is used for several intramural programs and winter sports practices. Preseason training for spring sport also benefit from this  indoor space.

 The SJJ Wrestling program also utilizes a Renovated Wrestling Room in the Lyden Center, which features a larger space for the Titan wrestlers with improved ventilation and lighting systems.

Lyden Field



Lyden Field is a state-of-the art facility utilized by many of St. John’s Jesuit athletic teams.  Thanks in part to the vision and personal contribution of Board of Trustees chairman W. Geoffrey Lyden III, Lyden Field become a reality in 2012. .

"Academics is the core of St. John's, but a strong athletic program is also a necessity for a well-rounded Jesuit education," Mr. Lyden said. "If you are pursuing excellence it needs to be evidenced in every part of your program. Strong facilities foster that."

The stadium seats 2,000 Titan fans and 1,600 visitors.
