Tribute gifts

Maybe your late father attended our school and you want to memorialize him in some way that will benefit students. Perhaps your brother's fiftieth birthday is coming up, and you feel a gift to his alma mater would please him. Maybe your son, a recent graduate, just got his first job following his graduation from college, and you believe he'd get a kick out of your noting that by giving a gift in his name.

Tribute gifts can be in any amount.

When we receive a tribute gift, we send notification to the person, or the family of the person, in whose name the gift was made. This notification does not include the amount of the gift.

The donor also receives a letter of acknowledgment, confirming the amount of the gift and indicating that the intended recipient has been notified of the gift.

To make a tribute gift, please provide us with: 

• Your name, address, and telephone number
• Reason for the tribute
• Name and address of the person(s) who should be
  notified of the gift
• Amount of the gift
• Check or credit card information
