Post Prom

Dear Parents and Student:

Prom time is approaching and the Prom Committee is busy making plans for a memorable evening of dinner and dancing.  The Post Prom committee is also in the midst of planning an entertaining evening after the prom.  Students, parents and faculty are pleased to continue the tradition of a drug and alcohol free post prom event at the UT Recreation Center.  In keeping with tradition it is a pleasure to invite you to the

Saturday April 4
11:00pm to 3:00am (Sunday, April 5)

There will be many activities including swimming, waterslides, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, as well as other unique and entertaining games.  Also, a variety of refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

Please take a moment and review the procedures and guidelines necessary for a successful Post Prom evening:

• The Release Form must be completed and signed by each participant. Student as well as his date must complete a separate form. Please complete the entire form if you are attending Post-prom. Additional forms will be available in Mr. Borgelt's office.
• If you are not attending Post Prom you only need to complete the portions that pertain to prom. You do not need to fill out the UT release form.
• A parent signature is also required if the student and his date are not planning to attend Post Prom.
• All forms must be submitted at the time of the Prom Bid purchase.
• Any student not attending Prom may attend Post Prom for $20.00 with a signed release form.
• Students must attend two mandatory substance abuse meetings.
• Prom Bids will be available for purchase beginning March 17^th.  The first 50  students to buy their bid will be entered into a drawing for a free gift, please plan to buy your bids early.
• Upon the purchase of the bid, the student will receive directions to the UT Rec. Center with parking information and check-in information.
• The Prom will end at 12:00 am; students and their dates can check-in at UT from 11:00 pm to 12:30 am. Please understand that parents will be notified of no shows and late arrivals and the participants cannot leave until the event is over at 3:00 am.

Students arriving in Limos will not be admitted to Prom and Post Prom.
