CounselorsTodd Black
Mr. Black has a BA in Psychology and Sociology from BGSU. He is currently working on his master's in school counseling. He has been on the St. John's staff four years and has coached the cross country and track programs for seven years.
Bev Hartwig
In her third year at St. John's, Mrs. Hartwig is a member of the college counseling staff. She is the scholarship coordinator and assists students considering careers in medicine. She has a BS from Wayne State University and has experience teaching in the nursing learning lab at the former MUO. Her two sons are SJJ alumni.
Jill Lipinski
With a Psychology degree from Lourdes College and a graduate degree in school counseling from The University of Toledo, Mrs. Lipinski has worked with Autistic adults at Bittersweet Farms and is currently executive director of a coalition focusing on drug and alcohol prevention. She is married and has a son.
Michele Nixon
Mrs. Nixon has a BA in Speech Communications and a MEd in Education, She has extensive experience as an educator having worked with gifted and talented students as well as those with learning disabilities. Mrs. Nixon has 25 years of experience and has taught in Ohio, California, and Minnesota. She has conducted teacher in-service education at Ohio University, in school districts in various states, as well as here at SJJ.
Mussa Orra
Mr. Orra is an SJJ alumnus, class of 2002. From The University of Toledo, he attained his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and his Master's Degree in Counselor Education. He also has post graduate credit in the realm of Community Counseling. Mr. Orra has experience in student mentoring, peer mediation, and coaching. Aside from assisting students to achieve their maximum potential, he enjoys playing softball, basketball and golfing.
Lin Sibley
With a BS from BGSU and a master's in guidance from The University of Toledo, she also has done post-graduate work in reading/psychology/substance abuse at Michigan State University. Ms. Sibley has worked in the Toledo Public Schools and Detroit Central Catholic. She has been at SJJ since 1997 having been here for an earlier stint from 1977 to 1983. She enjoys remodeling houses, gardening, reading and crafting.
Dr. Margie Warrick
With a doctorate in Higher Educational Administration from the University of Michigan, Dr. Warrick has been in college admissions work for more than 30 years. She has experience at both the University of Michigan and Ohio State University. She has an extensive network of professional contacts at colleges and universities across the country. She has led been at SJJ for nine years. On the advisory board for ACT, Dr. Warrick has been a delegate to the National Association for College Admissions Counseling and is active in the Ohio Association for College Admissions Counseling, and the Jesuit High School College Counseling Association.
