Juggling ClubLooking to meet new friends, be involved with current friends, want to learn more about Spanish, Chinese, learn how to juggle, fly fish, martial arts? These are just a few of our clubs.. With more than 50 clubs and activities, there is literally something for everyone.

While academics are major, we know a well-rounded student develops all his talents. Colleges and universities are also looking for involvement as success indicators.

With an "Activities Period" is built into the school day once a month, with teachers as moderators, there is no way to avoid a club just for you.

Freshman attend an "Activities Fair" in August  and a rep from every organization is there to sign you up.

Our most popular clubs include: Lumberjack, Ultimate Frisbee and Video Games Club.

  • The Smallest group is in the Wired Club-Computer Club
  • FYI: Best Food is found in the Arabic Club

Best food!Did you know...

  • each Business Club member has $1,000,000 to invest in a stock market simulation
  • the Fly Fishing Club went to Grayling to Wa Wa Sum and fished and canoed the Au Sable River
  • the Comedy Club hosted "Open Mike Night" Feb. 27th @ 7 PM in the McQuade Theater
  • the Ski/Snowboard Club will rock climb at Boyne Mountain

New this year:

  • Lumberjack Club - This club is all about eating pancakes and wearing flannel. They are Paul Bunyon's biggest fans and their goal is to help students who are interested become more in touch with the great outdoors.
  • Harry Potter - This club is for all the Harry Potter groupies at SJJ! Discuss the books & movies with your fellow classmates.
  • Seinfeld Club - Are you a huge fan of this classic "show about nothing?" If so, you will enjoy this club.

Other After School Activities

Ambassadors, Battle of the Bands, Bowling, Cavalier, Crew, Dodgeball, Film Study, Harry Potter, Inscape, Ping Pong, Quiz Bowl, Social Justice Alliance, Student Council and Yearbook.

No matter where your interests lie, there is a place for everyone. And if you're feeling creative and have an idea, you can start a club of your own!
