Process

1. You may work in teams of two to four students.

2. Using the resources, research time travel. What are black holes? White holes? Wormholes? What are the rules of time travel? What are paradoxes? Can you change the past? Visit the future? Who is John Titor? Is the mind capable of time travel independent of the body? Explore these concepts to help you form your opinions about the possibility of time travel. You will use this information to create your powerpoint or movie presentation. (Minimum of two minutes).

3. Research Albert Einstein, Dr. Ronald Mallett, Kip Thorne, and Dr. Stephen Hawking. You can include information on any or all of these scientists in your presentation.

4. After researching Einstein, imagine you are able to go back in time and visit him. What would you want him to know about the future? Write a persuasive letter to Albert Einstein to convince him to come back to the future with you. Here are two links to help you write a better 'persuasive letter':

5. If you could go back in time, who would you like to meet and why? Each team member should choose a person, search for information on the chosen person, and write a five paragraph essay about your choice. In addition, research your chosen person and find or create three distinct artifacts from that person’s lifetime to include in a time capsule. You will also have to provide or create a time capsule.
