B. DAILY MATERIALS
1. Appropriate texts
2. Pens….All quizzes, tests and homeworks are to be done in ink!
3. Spiral notebook (single section is fine. Have a new spiral for each
semester.)
4. Assignment notebook ( Agenda )
5. Highlighter
6. 3 Ring Binder
C. QUIZZES
1. May be announced or not Both quizzes & tests can have bonus questions.
2. MUST BE WRITTEN IN INK
D. TESTS
1. Normally are equal to three (3) quizzes or 3 homeworks
E. HOMEWORKS
1. Must be done in ink & on lined-paper that I provide, loose-leaf
paper or typed out.
2. Due as you walk into the room
3. A homework is equal to a quiz
F. GRADING
1. Each assigned chapter will be accompanied by one or more open-notes
quizzes.
2. Each chapter will be accompanied by related homeworks.
3. Closed-notes tests will be announced before the test is to be given,
4. Homeworks are to be turned in on time. Each day of EXCUSED absence
allows a day extra to turn work in.
G. GRADE VALUES
First Semester grade is determined by:
First quarter grade = 40%
Second quarter grade = 40%
Semester Exam = 20%
Second Semester grade:
3rd quarter grade = 40%
4th quarter grade = 40%
Semester Exam & Project = 20%
H. Do your best not to fall behind in your work.
Teachers are here to
help, so don’t be afraid to seek mine. If there is genuine reason
to turn in homework or take a quiz at a later date, see me about it.
I can be flexible when necessary. Especially keep up with your homeworks.
They are the lifelines for this and your other courses.
