School Delay or CancellationFor official notification of delay or cancellation due to weather, please tune in to TV stations Channel 11, Channel 13, or Channel 24, and radio stations WCWA (1230 AM), WRVF (101.5 FM), KISS FM (92.5), or WIOT (FM 104). Notice will be given to these stations by 7:00 AM. All weather-related closings or delays will be stated as follows: "The Toledo Catholic Elementary Schools and Toledo Catholic High Schools are closed," or "Toledo Catholic Elementary and Toledo Catholic High Schools are delayed." If we are on a two-hour delay, the SJJ bus will run two hours late (i.e. 7:30 am pickup becomes a 9:30 am pickup). When the outlying public school districts are forced to close or delay the beginning of school because of fog, snow, etc., that does not necessarily mean that St. John's Jesuit will close or delay the beginning of its day. Unless you are notified via radio or TV that we have closed or delayed, we will start on time. If your son's public school district delays and St. John's Jesuit does not delay, it is the student's responsibility to get to school on time. If you do not feel your son can get to school safely, then he must report to the AP's office when he arrives with an explanatory note from you. |
