AP Music Theory
This course is designed for those interested in advanced
music theory, aural skills (ear training), basic composition, and basic
music theory
in accordance with The College Board Advanced Placement Program Music
Theory Course Description. The course is open to any sophomore, junior,
or senior meeting the following prerequisites: the student must read
pitches on a staff, recognize duration of notes, and knows or can
easily learn basic keyboard skills. Any candidate wishing to gain admittance
to the course must have a basic understanding in all three of these
areas.
