The Marching Titans are the pride of St. John’s Jesuit High School,
performing at varsity football games, pep rallies, band festivals, community
outreach events, and parades.

2006 Field Show: “After the Groove is Gone”
Our 2006 field show featured music of the ever-popular band Earth,
Wind, and Fire that left quite an impression on
the field. The show opened with a bold arrangement of In
The Stone that featured the
screaming trumpets and powerful full band sound. Changing the mood,
the second piece was After the Love is Gone,
featuring our auxiliary unit. The “Titan Thunder” percussion
section was brought to the forefront in Getaway,
arranged by Jon Wilson ’00. To close
the show, none other then the all-time Earth, Wind, and Fire hit September would
do.

What about athletes? And who are those girls?
YES! You can be an athlete and play in the bands at SJJ! Members of the
Marching Titans are also involved on sports teams, including football,
soccer, cross country, track, lacrosse, crew, sailing, wrestling, and
more. Our bandsmen are also involved in debate, yearbook, Christian Leadership
Symposium, and many other activities here at SJJ. The girls you see are
students at Notre Dame Academy, St. Ursula Academy, or are home schooled.
The band program is the only ongoing sanctioned co-ed activity at St.
John’s Jesuit.
