Titan Students and Parents:

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year.  I hope you had a fun and safe summer.  If you are an incoming Freshman, we are thrilled to have you become our newest Titan class, and for our returning Titans, we welcome you back for another exciting year.  The first few days of the school year are full of fun, facts and general information.


SCHOOL FORMS - Final Forms, Health Forms and Transportation Information is located at in the Parent Tab, located at the top of the home page.  SJJ uses Final Forms as a convenient tracking method for sports through the Athletics Department, Student Handbook Agreements, Immunizations Records and Emergency Medical Information.  All forms will be updated for the 2017-2018 school year by July 24.  Those of you already using Final Forms will simply log into your existing account.  New users should click the Final Forms link and follow the on-screen instructions to set up an account.  All forms must be completed prior to registration.  Sports can be easily added later.  Contact Mr. Spencer Root at 419-865-5743 ext. 0721 with any questions.


DRESS CODE -  The complete Dress Code is published in the Parent tab at as well as in the Student Handbook.  Parents and students are advised to read the Dress Code in its entirety prior to purchasing school clothing.  There have been no major changes from previous years; however, a few clarifying statements have been added.  Some commonly overlooked items are; shoes must be black or brown (including the sole and sides), shirts must be able to button to the top button and remain tucked in while seated, hair cannot have shaved lines or patterns.


PICTURES will be taken on Monday, August 14 during Orientation for Freshman and Tuesday, August 15 during Registration for all other grades. All students must be in dress code.  Students may purchase the packet of pictures at the time of the photo session.  Students must also have payment at the time pictures are taken, Lifetouch will not accept payment the next day.    Picture envelopes were mailed to your home, if you did not receive one, please call the Main Office at 419-865-5743.  You also have the option of ordering your picture package online by visiting: and entering Picture Day ID:  WP117063Y0.   If you are absent on picture day or do not like your pictures, there will be a retake day on Monday, September 25th. 


iPADS are required for Registration Day.  Students need to bring their iPad to access PowerSchool for their course schedule and locker information and more.  Students should have their apple ID/iTunes account set up prior to Orientation for Freshman and Registration for all other grades. Sophomore, Junior and Senior registration will begin with a class meeting in the McQuade Theater.  Please be prompt.  Pertinent information will be given to students at this time, including graduation information for Seniors.  


STUDENT ID CARDS are created on Orientation Day. The Student ID card is created when pictures are taken. The ID card should be carried by the student at all times.  The student ID card is not active for monetary use. New this year is the Titan Quiklunch Account, an online service that can be used to manage the student’s lunch account. To sign up, visit the Business Office page at


REGISTRATION DAY- Below is a table that outlines the schedule for the first week.  Be sure that your student has an iPad and the picture envelope with payment if you wish to purchase pictures.

SCHEDULES have been worked on diligently. We have tried to accommodate the classes that were requested in the spring.  When changes were made, your alternate choice was used as a replacement whenever possible.  Schedules will be available for viewing in PowerSchool beginning August 8th.  Once you have access to your schedule, make sure it is balanced -- for example, six classes per semester; not five classes during Semester 1 and seven classes during Semester 2. Counselors will be available on Registration days to help students with scheduling needs.
